I've heard many cancer survivors say that they look at life differently after a battle with cancer. You do! But after some contemplation, I thought I'd rather show you what life is like after cancer. This is when the idea for a book struck me. It was like getting an assignment without instructions. It all began to fall into place as I began to notice...

I was very young when I got cancer and my prognosis was not good. It was around Christmas one year that I heard my doctor say, "That's all we can do." Years later, and still alive, the title came to me instantly. Surviving was The Answer For My Hope!

With the title in hand, I turned to what I would say. But the words did not come. I decided to tell my stories with pictures. And I found a wealth of them in my most influential place ... the garden.

"What's in the book," you ask? This little book is a small sample of what you will find in all the book in the series, The Answer For My Hope. Each is filled with personal pictures, stories and commentary about a simple life after recovery. It is my highest honor and hope to share this hope with you.
